The Green Run Board of Directors encourages residents to attend the following meeting about the city’s
2009-10 budget.
City
staff report that "a challenging economy, limited resources, and more
demand than ever for city services means this year will be a critical one for
weighing citizen input and making the best possible decisions about how funding
should be allocated.
After years of neglect by City Council and staff, our 40 year-old community has many needs - from canal dredging that was originally promised for 2006 to neighborhood parks and recreational facilities.
Unless you speak out, Green Run may lose out to other neighborhoods or programs when competing for the city's limited funds.
Please attend the upcoming Town Hall meeting to show your support for the Green Run community and to let City Council know that you don't want needs our community neglected any longer.
Green Run T-shirts and refreshments will be provided to residents from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be from 7 to 9 p.m.
